AI policy
YaMug uses automated tools in limited parts of the business. This page explains where they are used and the controls we apply.
Product research and trend analysis
Trend Analysis collects public signals such as news headlines, public trends and public engagement counts. It uses deterministic rules and classical statistics to rank opportunities. Trend Analysis does not use generative AI to collect, filter, cluster, score or forecast topics.
Product Studio
When a staff member carries a research topic into Product Studio, an OpenAI text model may suggest editable product settings, collection placement and an 18+ classification. The source evidence is supplied as untrusted reference data. It is not used as instructions, and Product Studio does not enable web search or external retrieval for this step.
AI suggestions are drafts. Staff must review or edit them, approve the product settings, request image generation, review the artwork, and decide whether to publish. A successful or failed analysis never publishes a product or queues image generation by itself.
Image generation and catalogue copy
Configured image and text providers may be used to generate artwork, product descriptions, tags and category copy. Generated content is reviewed by staff before publication. Providers receive only the information needed for the requested operation; API credentials and internal configuration are never included in prompts.
Your information and third-party providers
We do not send payment details, passwords or unnecessary account information to an AI provider. Public trend evidence and the product information needed for a staff-initiated analysis may be processed by the configured provider under its terms. Do not use Product Studio to submit confidential or sensitive personal information.
Human review and corrections
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or unsuitable. Staff are responsible for checking factual claims, rights issues, safety warnings, spelling, product suitability and Australian consumer-law obligations. If you see a problem, contact us.
